The mortal remains of martyr Rifleman Arjun Thapa Magar will be arriving at Bagdogra on Thursday afternoon by Air Asia Flt I5 756.
Rifleman Arjun Thapa Magar of the Indian Army was deployed in Jammu and Kashmir. He was martyred during an ongoing cordon and search operation at the Nowshera sector in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

25-year-old Magar was originally a resident of Rip village of Nepal’s Gurkha district and is survived by his parents. From Bagdogra, his mortal will be moved to his residence.
Meanwhile, another jawan of the Indian Army, Naik Sawant Sandip Raghunath was also martyred in the same incident. He hails from Satara district of Maharashtra and is survived by his wife.
It is to be mentioned here that on Wednesday, the soldiers had detected some terrorists trying to sneak in from Pakistan using the forest cover at Khari Thrayat.

Jammu-based Indian Army Public Relations Officer Lieutenant Colonel Devender Anand in an official statement said, “Two army soldiers were martyred during cordon and search operation in the Nowshera sector. The operation is still in progress and further details are awaited.”
The infiltrators opened fire on the troop of soldiers as soon as the search operation was launched.
As per the officials, a massive operation is on.
