ByteDance has been in talks with the authorities about bringing TikTok back to the country, reports suggest.

Moreover, the Chinese corporation also assured it would comply with the new IT requirements.

TikTok was one of the first among the 59 Chinese applications to be banned in India by the union government last year due to national security concerns.

Despite its ban in India, TikTok is still widely used around the world.
It has lately received over three billion downloads all over the world.
