RHODODENDRON FESTIVAL BEING HELD FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MIZORAM

The first ever Rhododendron Festival is being organised in Lawngtlai district of Mizoram. The two day festival which began on Thursday showcased the districts tourism potential, wildlife potential, local products besides others. Mizoram Governor Lt. Gen. (Retd) Nirbhay Sharma inaugurated the festival. Lawntlai Deputy Commissioner Dr Arun T also graced the occasion. The maiden festival is being organised by Rhododendron Festival Organizing Committee, Lawntlai district. Traditional Mizo dance was the major attraction of the festival.
