Assam Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Clash breaks out between voters in Moirabari under Nagaon constituency, voting delayed

Tension escalated at a polling station in Moirabari under Nagaon Parliamentary Constituency, Assam on April 26 as voting for second phase Lok Sabha elections is underway across the country, including Assam.

As per sources, an argument broke out over few breaking away from the queue at No 279 Durabandi Secondary School polling centre under Nagaon Parliamentary Constituency, which later escalated to a full fledged clash. Few even got injured in the clash as police tried to calm down the situation. 

The uproar was triggered by a dispute over the queue of voters. Meanwhile, the situation has been brought under control.
