Manipur's core issues will never be compromised, says CM Biren Singh

Stressing about complete restoration of peace in Manipur, chief minister N Biren Singh on April 17 said that the state will not compromise the core issues of  the state at any cost in order to bring amicable solution.

He stated this during the releasing function of BJP Manifesto at BJP office Thambal Shanglen today. 

Addressing the function, chief minister N Biren Singh said that the central government knows the problem which state is suffering due to influx of illegal immigrant. As such central government has announced for border fencing, suspension of Free Movement Regime and implement Inner Line Permit system. 

He continued and said that state will solve problems plaguing in the state without compromising the survival of indigenous people state and territorial integrity of Manipur.

Pointing about the negative impact of Armed Forces Special Powers Act, he said that under the shadow of AFSPA thousands of youth had lost their life and many people are still facing the brunt of act. Understanding its fallout, BJP government has willingly remove disturbed area status from 19 police station. 

He also said that Central Government gives special focus for the development of North east region in their manifesto. 

During media interaction at the sidelines of the function, Biren said “what to be said and what to be done by the Central Government under the leadership of Narendra Modi has already started. To complete the ongoing process people need to vote our beloved BJP Candidate and NPF Candidate.”

He also strongly condemned yesterday attacked occurred at National Highway to oil tankers. Operation has started to nab the culprits. 

The programme was attended by BJP candidate Thounaojam Basanta Kumar Singh and some other BJP MLAs, minister and BJP central leaders and state leaders.
