Assam: Tea Tribes and Adivasi community members join Assam Jatiyo Parishad in Margherita

Over 300 individuals from the Tea Tribes and Adivasi community of Namdang Tea Estate, Margherita, have pledged allegiance to the Assam Jatiyo Parishad (AJP). 

The surge in membership is driven by people's desire for change.

On Wednesday around 3:00 pm more than 300 people belonging to Tea tribes and Adivasi community of Namdang Tea Estate Margherita joined Assam Jatiyo Parishad at the office of AJP Margherita.

During the joining programme Assam Jatiyo Parishad Central Committee Secretary Sanjay Kumar Deb, Juwel Topno, Anita Das Mahanta, Sujit Baruah, Shompa Chakraborty, Biju Kalita, Manoranjan Chetia, Mohan Sharma, Dulumoni Gogoi, Bornali Gogoi and other leaders were present. 

Sanjay Kumar Deb said that the people want change so everyone is joining Assam Jatiyo Parishad and in this Lok Sabha election United opposition forum candidate Lurinjyoti Gogoi shall win the election by a huge number of votes.
