GOAT actor Parvati Nair accused of assaulting domestic help

A case has been filed against Tamil actor Parvati Nair for allegedly assaulting her domestic helper, Subhash Chandra Bose. The actor was last seen alongside actor Thalapathy Vijay in his recently released film, The Greatest of All Time. She has been booked under sections 296 (b), 115 (2), and 351 (2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), after a complaint by Subhash.

As reported by the news agency ANI, Subhash initially worked as a helper at KJR Studios. He was later asked to do household chores at Parvati's residence in the year 2022. In his complaint with the police, he alleged that during his time at the actor's house, he was accused of theft by Parvati.

Earlier, a police complaint was filed by the actor after her laptop, watch, camera and a mobile phone allegedly went missing from the house. However, Subhash presented his side of the story to the police. He said after he was released by the police in the theft case and went back to working at the KJR Studios, Parvati came to the studio and slapped him. He added that she was accompanied by five others who verbally abused him.

Subhash filed a complaint at Teynampet Police Station in Chennai. The victim said the police didn't take any action, and he later approached the Saidanet 19th MM Court. It was after the Saidapet Magistrate passed the orders that an FIR was registered against Parvati and others. The investigation in the case is underway.

The actor has not released any statement on the matter yet.

Parvati is known for her roles in the movies Poppins, Story Kathe, Yennai Arindhaal, Uttama Villain and Nimir, among others. She also worked in Ranveer Singh's 83.
