Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga eagerly anticipates the release of his third directorial venture, Animal. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, delves into the complex relationship between a father and son.

The recently released trailer has piqued audience interest, with Ranbir's portrayal of a devoted son willing to go to any extent to safeguard his father earning considerable appreciation.

At Animal's pre-release event in Hyderabad on Monday, Vanga expressed his admiration for Ranbir, stating he had never encountered an actor like him before and often felt the urge to touch his feet in reverence of his talent.

“Ranbir might be younger to me but when I see him performing, I feel like touching his feet and taking his blessings. I haven’t seen anyone with so much patience,” Vanga shared.

Even though Animal lasts more than three hours, Vanga is sure that Ranbir's performance would keep the audience fully captivated and amused. He had said in an earlier interview with The Hindu, “The first cut of Animal was 3 hours 45 or 46 minutes. I chopped till 3:21. I have seen the film multiple times and it is an engaging film. Ranbir is a great performer and will not let the audience relax for a second”.

Key characters in the film, which is slated to open in cinemas on December 1, are portrayed by Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna. It will compete with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur at the box office. However, based on the patterns of advance bookings, Animal is outpacing the Meghna Gulzar movie. The life of Sam Manekshaw, the first Indian Army commander to be appointed to the rank of Field Marshal, is examined in Sam Bahadur.
