Sarmah, renowned for her culinary expertise, personally cooked meals for three hundred flood victims, ensuring they received nourishing food during these trying times.

Her dedication extended beyond the kitchen as she distributed food items to hundreds more who were taking shelter at Misa in Kaliabor.
