Assam: Singer Deeplina Deka’s musical troupe meets with an accident in Nagaon, sustains injuries

A vehicle of Guwahati-based Assamese actor and singer Deeplina Deka’s musical troupe met with an accident on the morning of April 28 after their vehicle collided head-on with a speeding truck coming from an opposing direction in the Amoni area of the Nagaon district.

The incident took place in the morning time when the artist was returning to Guwahati in an Innova vehicle from Lakhimpur after attending a concert at night.

A speeding truck coming in the wrong direction on the highway near the Amoni area collided head-on with the Innova in which Deeplina Deka's musical troupe was travelling.

As a result of the accident, the luxury vehicle on which the artist was traveling got damaged completely but Deka's musical troupe escaped with minor injuries.
