Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has received praise for its outstanding visual effects and gripping action scenes. The movie has been praised for its flawless blending of masala with social drama. Since the plot of the movie was revealed, rumours have circulated that Atlee's action-packed production, which also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone, may have been greatly influenced by Money Heist.

Once it was established that Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies had formally bought the rights to the highly anticipated Netflix series, the whispers gained momentum.

During the promotions, the Casting Director of the film, Mukesh Chhabra was also asked about the Money Heist connection, and he refused to comment on the same. Now, a clip has been going viral on the internet, where some of the scenes from Money Heist seem to be replicated in the film.

The viral video, which was posted on the r/kollywood Reddit thread, attracted attention. Internet users, however, were unmoved and praised Shah Rukh Khan for his clever business plan as he had long since acquired the rights to Money Heist.

A user commented, “SRK had bought the rights for money heist in 2019.” Another comment echoed the same thought, “Exactly. However, there was a section that attacked Atlee for the scenes. A user wrote, “Ashwin’s Maaveeran is also inspired by Stranger Than Fiction.
