Imphal West girl Bhumika tops Manipur HSLC exams

Imphal, May 18, 2019:

The Board of Secondary Education in Manipur has announced the result of the HSLC today. In yet another show of 'girl power', Bhumika Shamurailatpam from Pitambara English School at Kwakeithel in Imphal has topped the exam this time with 572 marks.

Sophiya Asem from Bright Career Academy and Arvind Maibam from Tiny Tots' Unique School, Imphal have jointly secured the second position with 567 marks. Moirangthem Julendia Devi from St. Thomas School, Kontha Ahallup has secured the third position.

A total of 37,138 students appeared the board exams this year out of which 27,740 have passed the exam. Manipur has recorded a pass percentage of 74.69%.

Among these, 13,370 were male candidate enrolled in regular course and 512 non regular male candidates. While 13,193 were female candidates enrolled in regular course and 665 non- regular female candidates.

Candidates from 4,686 government schools, 1039 aided schools, and 22,015 private schools appeared for the examinations.

-> Go to official website: http://manresults.nic.in/hslc/index.htm and spot the Manipur HSLC Exam Result 2019 link on the homepage and click it.

-> Then, the required details need to be entered and submitted.

-> Students are advised to take a printout of the result and keep for future reference.
