Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has strongly condemned the recent killing of two laborers from Bihar.
Addressing media queries, the Chief Minister confirmed that seven individuals have been detained in connection with the incident. "Interrogations are underway to ascertain their involvement," he stated, assuring that the government is committed to identifying and bringing the culprits to justice.
Singh expressed suspicion that the killings might have been politically motivated, hinting at deeper underlying tensions.
He reiterated the administration’s resolve to thoroughly investigate the matter and take strict action against those responsible.
