Manipur Governor, CM Biren Singh take part in Republic Day celebrations in Imphal

Governor Anusuiya Uikey and Chief Minister N. Biren Singh extended their greetings to the people on this significant day. 

Governor Uikey reflected on the historical importance of the day, marking the adoption of India's Constitution in 1950, which has been the guiding principle of the nation. 

She praised India's democratic journey, highlighting the country's growth in strength and respect on the international stage. 

The Governor called for homage to the founding fathers for their foresight and urged citizens to work together to uphold the secular, socialist, and democratic values enshrined in the Constitution.

Chief Minister N. Biren Singh also shared a poignant message, using the occasion to encourage reflection on the state's progress and aspirations. 

"Let us take this solemn moment to reflect on how far our Nation has come since our Constitution came into force on this momentous day in 1950, and reaffirm our pledge to further uphold the values & principles enshrined in the Constitution," wrote Biren Singh on his X handle.

The celebrations in Imphal were marked by these messages of hope, resilience, and a collective effort towards a peaceful and prosperous future, aligning with the spirit of Republic Day that honors India's unity in diversity and rich cultural heritage.
