Manipur: Pray for the Central leaders, stay hopeful, God never fails, Minister Nemcha exhorts IDPs in Kangpokpi

Continuing her tireless efforts to provide support to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Manipur's Textiles, Commerce, and Industry and Cooperation Minister Nemcha Kipgen reached out to thousands of IDPs in Kangpokpi District Headquarters today. As the local MLA of Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency, she shared the suffering and pain of the people affected by the ongoing crisis.

In addition to the thousands of IDPs residing in relief camps established in Kangpokpi town, several others have been forced to live in rented houses due to various factors, primarily health issues. Identifying these individuals, the Kangpokpi Town Committee collaborated with Minister Nemcha to provide them with essential relief materials.

Addressing the gathered IDPs, Minister Nemcha Kipgen expressed her deep empathy, saying, "The suffering and pain you have endured for the past six months weigh heavily on my heart, often keeping me awake at night." She praised the resilience of the people and their unwavering optimism, buoyed by faith and prayer.

While encouraging the IDPs to support and motivate each other during these challenging times, the Minister stressed the importance of relying on faith, saying, "We should put our burdens on God, for He will give us rest. Stay hopeful and remain strong in your prayers because God never fails His people."

Minister Nemcha Kipgen also called upon her constituents to offer prayers for the central leaders, seeking wisdom and well-being for those responsible for finding solutions to the ongoing problems. She reassured the people of her dedication to representing their interests and implored them to include her in their prayers.

During the meeting, the Minister distributed three blankets to each of the IDPs staying in privately rented houses, offering some comfort and warmth in these challenging times.

A prominent Evangelist, Rev. Solal, delivered an inspiring speech, drawing from the Gospel's teachings, and offered prayers for the Internally Displaced Persons, Minister Nemcha, and the leaders of the Kuki-Zo community.

The Kangpokpi Town Committee, Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organization, and the Kangpokpi Youth Union, who have been actively involved in aiding the IDPs from the outset, commended the Minister for her unwavering dedication to the well-being of her people
