One of the protestor, Ningthemcha Ongbi Enaobi said that they expect a lot from home minister Amit Shah in his recent visit to Manipur. The people of Manipur thought that peace will surely restore in Manipur. But in contrary, present crisis has been intensified.

"The union home minister Amit Shah is still unable to control constant attack carried out by Kuki militants to civilian. However the minister urged people who had snatch weapon for self defense to return it. We strongly condemned such one sided nature of home minister," she condemned.

While mentioning some of the demands, she said that government of India should not fulfil the demand of separate homeland made by influx immigrants. This demand is next to impossible.

The government of India should withdraw Suspension of Operation with Kuki militants, they should take proactive role to stop the constant gun attack by Kuki militants, not to disintegrate integrity of Manipur, she added.
