Two Manipur women assaulted on camera by group in Delhi; case lodged

Two women from Manipur were allegedly assaulted by a group of people on a street in southeast Delhi's Sunlight Colony. The incident that happened on Friday night was captured on a mobile phone from a balcony across the street. The video has been shared widely on social media.

The two women are from Manipur's Meitei community and along with them, one of the women's husband and a friend were also attacked by the miscreants. The victims have reportedly suffered minor injuries resulting from the incident. 

The Delhi Police have registered a case under relevant sections and are searching for the accused.
