Would like to thank the district administration and government of Karnataka for their support.
In response to the tragedy, the authorities had taken swift action, shutting down the institution and arresting key figures involved. The owner of the school and the hostel warden were among three individuals detained in connection with the incident.
The Meghalaya government has been actively involved in assisting the affected families. Commissioner and Secretary (Home) Cyril Diengdoh, along with other officials, traveled to Karnataka to support the families of the victims and collaborate with local authorities to ensure proper investigations and assistance.
