Mizoram CM visits Project 'Sentinel Care' at Assam Rifles Complex in Zokhawsang

The recently inaugurated Project “Sentinel Care” at the Assam Rifles Complex, Zokhawsang, was visited by Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhawma today. 

Major General Vinod Kumar Nambiar, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (East) had apprised him about the fully residential, free-of-cost facility being provided by Assam Rifles in collaboration with NIEDO and Axis Bank.
 
The CM also inspected the AR complex in Zokhawsang, where residential buildings have been renovated and refurbished to accommodate twenty-eight young girls and boys who will be mentored for a period of twelve months for competitive entrance examinations in various Engineering and Medical stream. 

Assam Rifles, in collaboration with NIEDO and Axis Bank at the Assam Rifles Complex in Zokhawsang, will provide complete guidance and training to the young girls and boys for the competitive world during this twelve-month period.
 
During his visit, CM interacted with the students and faculties and also thanked DG Assam Rifles and simultaneously appreciated AR for the pioneering work of guiding the youth of Mizoram towards a prosperous future and to empower the not-so-fortunate and economically weak section of society and provide them with opportunities for a better future.
