The Mizo Zirlai Pawl, or the Mizo Students Association, conducted a search operation for illegal traders and workers living without permits.
A total of 78 individuals, including minors without an Inner Line Permit or expired documents, were arrested today. All are handed over to the concerned authority.
The students' leaders once again request that the authorities use the Inner Line Permit (ILP) as it is and be more careful in the issuance of the ILP.

MZP leaders, College Students Union (SU) leaders, and Hnampual Zirlai Pawl leaders participated in the search operation.
Additionally, they request the village and local council councils refrain from granting recognition letters in relation to the ILP issue unless they have the required paperwork.
The student leaders stated that they would keep a careful eye on the situations of undocumented workers and traders or expired documents and take action against them.
