In a profound display of devotion, a group of followers from Maharashtra journeyed to Ayodhya, the revered birthplace of Lord Rama, to present an extraordinary gift to the deity at the Ram Mandir.
Their offering was a colossal sword, measuring an impressive 7 feet 3 inches in length and weighing a substantial 80 kilograms.
This gesture not only signifies the deep spiritual connection that devotees maintain with the holy city but also highlights the cultural ties that bind various regions of India through shared reverence.
The Ram Mandir itself stands as a testament to faith and history, with its grand dimensions stretching 110 meters in length, 72 meters in width, and reaching up to 49 meters in height, covering a site area of 1.1 hectares.
The temple's design is the brainchild of the renowned architect Chandrakant Sompura, who, along with his son Ashish, has crafted a structure that resonates with the millions of worshippers who look upon it with veneration.

This temple, which has been a focal point of devotion for centuries, was said to have been originally attacked and destroyed by the Mughal emperor Babur in 1528. However, its reconstruction has been a monumental effort, with engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) taking the helm to bring the vision of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to life.
Ayodhya, situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh, is on a transformative journey to become India's largest hub for religious tourism, with the central and state governments working towards enhancing its appeal to millions of tourists worldwide.
