A major fire broke out in the powerhouse of Singhan Wala village in Moga, Punjab on July 20.
Fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
Meanwhile, several transformers have been affected as well as damaged following the fire breakout.
A similar incident took place on May 10, whre a complete shutdown was witnessed in the Malwa region after the 220 kv power grid station in Singhan Wala village, caught fire following a blast in one of the electricity transformers of the grid.
About 26 transformers of 11 kv, 12.5 kv and 132/5 kv capacity were completely damaged due to the fire.
