Sikkim's Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has once again shown an act of kindness by arranging an urgent medical airlift for a car accident victim, Gyalchen Jangmu Tamang from YangYang, South Sikkim.
Under Tamang's direct supervision, Tamang was transported to BLK - Max Super Speciality Hospital in Delhi from Siliguri. Her family expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for his timely assistance.
This act adds to Tamang's series of initiatives to support individuals needing medical attention.

In November 2023, he provided financial assistance to 35 patients suffering from various illnesses.
Numerous schemes, such as the Chief Minister's Medical Assistance Scheme (CMMAS), have been introduced under his leadership to support those with chronic health conditions.
Similarly, in September 2023, Tamang extended medical assistance from the CSR fund of the Sikkim Power Development Corporation Limited (SPDCL) to twenty individuals referred to New Delhi for medical treatment.
