Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang and his Cabinet of ministers, on November 24 participated in an exhibition football match at Paljor Stadium, showcasing a spirited clash between Chief Minister XI, led by Tamang, and GTA XI from Darjeeling.
The friendly match displayed teamwork, camaraderie and the chief minister’s dedication to promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle.
The event was organised as part of the ongoing Governor’s Gold Cup Football Tournament, set to conclude with its grand finale at the same venue later today.
Chief Minister Tamang expressed his excitement and said that his team had prepared rigorously for the match with the necessary football gear to ensure a competitive performance. He encouraged fans to attend and further added that their support would inspire players and elevate the tournament’s festive atmosphere.
