Assam's pride Lovlina Borgohain leads India at spectacular Asian Games 2023 opening ceremony

Assam's very own Lovlina Borgohain, the Olympic bronze medalist and a symbol of sporting excellence along with India's men's hockey captain Harmanpreet Singh led the Indian contingent at the dazzling opening ceremony of the Asian Games 2023. The ceremony, held at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium on September 23, marked the commencement of this prestigious sporting event.

The evening commenced with an air of excitement as distinguished guests, including China's President Xi Jinping, made their entrance into the stadium.The event saw display of traditional Chinese dance.

The highlight of the ceremony was the entrance of athletes from all participating nations, who paraded into the stadium with pride and enthusiasm.
