Cyclone ‘Bulbul’ has hit the state of Tripura, heavily affecting the normal lives in Tripura.
Heavy rain has been reported on Sunday morning in Agartala and some other parts of the state. With the effects of cyclone ‘Bulbul’, which is moving towards West Bengal and Bangladesh has led to rainfall in different places of Tripura since Friday afternoon.

The paddy lands are submerged in the Sonamura subdivision, which is mainly an agricultural production area of the state and it is closer to Bangladesh.
Reportedly, on Saturday, three flights were canceled due to bad weather conditions. A few more flights may be cancelled on Sunday as well.
The roads are filled with rainwater in the state capital. Limited vehicle movements have been seen. People confined themselves to their residences following heavy rainfall.
The India Meteorological department’s (IMD), Agartala station said that the rainfall activity, which started from Friday afternoon in some places of Tripura will continue for the next three to four days.

Light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by the thunderstorm, is expected with heavy rainfall at one or two places of Tripura on November 9 and 10.
