A tragic accident occurred in Agartala late Saturday night, turning a T20 cricket celebration into a fatal event.
Ratul Banik, a young local, lost his life on the spot, and another youth, Roni Sutradhar, sustained severe injuries in a head-on collision involving their two-wheelers.
Sources report that Ratul Banik was riding a scooty, while Roni Sutradhar was on a bike.
The accident happened when both riders lost control and collided head-on. The impact of the collision was fatal for Ratul Banik, who died instantly.
Local residents promptly rushed Roni Sutradhar to GB Pant Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment for his injuries.
