The 72nd Plenary Session of the North Eastern Council (NEC) began today, December 21 at Pragna Bhavan, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah presiding over the meeting.
The two-day event brings together key stakeholders, including Governors, Chief Ministers, and high-ranking officials from the Northeastern states, to deliberate on the region's development priorities.
Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union MoS Dr Sukanta Majumder also present in the meeting.
As per schedule Union Home Minister likely to attend four events today including plenary session, North East Banker Conclave, 12th Meeting of North Eastern Space Application Centre.
On December 22nd Union Home Minister will visit Amabassa Sub-division of Dhalai District where he will interact with Internally Displaced Bru People.
