<p>Following the incident, Chief Minister Manik Saha who was present at the venue showcased a remarkable display of empathy and swift action as he rushed to the ailing principal’s aid and personally administered first aid before medical professionals arrived.</p>

His prompt action ensured that Chowdhury received timely care and began to recover shortly thereafter.</p>

The chief minister, who is also the health minister of the state, was at the school to inaugurate its new building, ahead of a virtual inauguration of new school buildings at Henry Derozio Academy, Gandhigram H.S. School, Taltala H.S. School, Indranagar High School, and Nandan Nagar H.S. School.</p>
