Tripura intensifies flood relief efforts, thousands of aid packets dispatched

In a relentless effort to mitigate the impact of the recent floods in Tripura, state government officials, in collaboration with the Indian Air Force, have been working tirelessly since the early hours of the morning to deliver essential supplies to affected regions. Beginning at 4:00 am, the coordinated relief operation has seen the dispatch of thousands of aid packets to communities in dire need.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha provided an update on the ongoing efforts, highlighting the scale and urgency of the relief operations. "As of this morning, we have successfully dispatched 3,000 packets, with an additional 5,000 ready for distribution. Four helicopters have been deployed to ensure that critical support reaches those most affected by the floods," Dr. Saha stated.

He emphasized the government's unwavering commitment to ensuring that all necessary resources are provided to those impacted by the disaster. "Just as we did yesterday, we will continue to ensure that relief packets are delivered promptly. We are exploring all possible avenues to guarantee that these essential supplies reach the affected areas as quickly as possible. Our commitment to supporting the communities every step of the way remains steadfast," the Chief Minister added.
