Tripura: Three injured in bear attack in Damcherra

In an unfortunate incident in Damcherra, located in North Tripura district, three individuals fell victim to a wild bear attack while working in the forest areas on Wednesday.

Among the injured, Amitabha Reang, who had ventured into the forest to collect firewood and other forest products, was critically injured and subsequently transferred to GBP Hospital in Agartala for advanced medical care.

The remaining three members of the group are currently receiving treatment in North Tripura.

The sudden and unexpected bear attack has raised concerns about the safety of those working in the region's forests.
