Tawang has what is said to be the biggest Buddhist monastery in the world outside of Lhasa, Tibet. It is a major holy site for Tibetan Buddhists as it was the birthplace of the sixth Dalai Lama.
About 40 kms and an hour drive from Tawang, this beautiful falls is about 100 meters in height originating from the northern slopes of famous Sela Pass and plunges into Tawang river thus making the falls serene and enchanting.

Sela Pass is a sacred site in Tibetan Buddhism. Buddhists believe that there are about 101 sacred lakes in and around the pass.
Dirang is well known for its Hot Water Spring and Apple Orchards apart from its mesmerizing natural beauty. It is also used as a base camp for trekking and bird watching at Mandla or Madla Phudong.
