Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan (8x8 inch or similar).

Mash bananas in a bowl until smooth.

Cream butter and sugar together in a mixing bowl. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.

Combine mashed bananas with the wet mixture.

Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture. Add milk if batter feels too thick.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool before serving.
