Director Shekhar Kapur planned to follow up the success of "Mr. India" with the sci-fi film "Time Machine," featuring Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon, Rekha, and Naseeruddin Shah. However, the project was shelved when Kapur left for Hollywood after completing three-fourths of the film.

"Alishaan," starring Amitabh Bachchan, was abandoned after a week of shooting when Bachchan decided to work on "Main Azad Hoon" with Javed Akhtar.

"Ladies Only," directed by Dinesh Shailendra, featured Randhir Kapoor, Seema Biswas, Shilpa Shirodkar, Heera Rajagopal, and Kamal Haasan in a guest role. The film, based on Jane Fonda's "Nine to Five," revolved around three women working in the same office who conspire to murder their lewd boss.

"Let's Catch Veerappan" was a black comedy about three villagers whose pursuit of a reward for catching the bandit inadvertently leads to the deaths of numerous police officials. However, the film was abandoned when Veerappan himself was caught and killed on the first day of shooting.

"Dus" was Mukul Anand's ambitious project starring Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, and Shilpa Shetty. Unfortunately, Anand's premature death left the film unfinished, although a different film titled "Dus" was later released with some of the original cast members.

"Sarhad," directed by J.P. Dutta, marked his directorial debut and featured Vinod Khanna, Bindiya Goswami, and Mithun Chakraborty. The film, centered around Indian prisoners of war, was left unfinished due to a lack of funds.

After two successful "Munna Bhai" films, the makers planned a third installment called "Munna Bhai Amreeka." However, the project was abandoned due to Sanjay Dutt's jail sentence and dissatisfaction with the film's premise.

"Sarfarosh," featuring Manmohan Desai and Amitabh Bachchan, was intended to star Bachchan as a convict. Despite having a talented cast including Parveen Babi, Rishi Kapoor, Kader Khan, and Shakti Kapoor, the film never made it to theaters.

"Apna Paraya" was a project that was supposed to bring together Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha before their collaboration in "Do Anjaane." However, the film never materialized as both actors were newcomers at the time.
