Shankar Mahadevan was born on March 3, 1967, in Chembur, Mumbai, India.
He holds a degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the prestigious Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology.
Shankar is one-third of the renowned Indian musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, along with Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa.
