Green Tea
It has catechins and other antioxidants that may help reduce levels of both harmful LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol. However, avoid drinking green tea by yourself. You can use a cookie or a slice of digestive biscuit.
Berry Smoothies
Numerous berries are rich in antioxidants and fibre, which may both work to lower cholesterol levels. Simply combine some berries with yogurt in a blender, such as strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, or raspberries.
Cocoa Drink
Dark chocolate’s main ingredient cocoa has flavanols (antioxidants) which may decrease cholesterol levels.
Tomato Juice
Lycopene, which is abundant in tomatoes and may lower dangerous LDL cholesterol and enhance lipid levels.
Soya Milk
It contains little saturated fat. Use soy milk or creamers in place of cream or other high-fat dairy products to reduce or manage cholesterol levels.
Oat Drink
Beta-glucans, which are included in oats and interact with bile salts in the stomach to form a gel-like substance, may prevent the absorption of cholesterol and lower cholesterol levels.
Plant-based Milk
If you enjoy drinking milk, remember to adjust your diet when it is determined that your cholesterol is high.
