Known as Nawng Yang in local language, the Lake of No Return is located on the border of Arunachal Pradesh and Myanmar

The area surrounding the Lake of No Return is home to the Tangas tribe

According to a popular theory surrounding the name of the lake, many aircrafts and their crews perished in the lake during the World War II.
