Goldenrod Goldenrod is commonly known as a wildflower plant, but it will also make a great addition to any garden because it easily grows by itself. Their botanical name, Antirrhinum, means "like a snout" and refers to the seed pod's resemblance to a calf's nose. The openings of the flowers are snapped tightly shut and require more pressure to open than a honeybee can provide, so snapdragons rely on heavier bumblebees for their pollination.
Coneflower Coneflower is a favourite among birds, butterflies and bees. They come in colours guaranteed to make your garden pop; bright red, bright pink and purple. Coneflower is perfect for adding depth to your garden as it grows to approximately one and a half metres. The flower grows well in the sunlight but can grow just fine in shady conditions.
Cosmos Cosmos are stout, independent and beautiful plants. The flower can grow and prosper without any care, which makes them a really easy plant to grow. Despite their graceful appearance, cosmos plants are tough. They will survive on the hottest summer days without a single drink. Cosmos grow well in full sun, but they can also grow in partial shade, which means they can be planted anywhere in your garden.
