The pen showcases Maki-e painting which is an ancient Japanese art, that is considered rare nowadays, adding to the value of the pen. This is another pen that sits on the rare list, as only 10 pieces were produced in the world. It uses very traditional jewellery techniques but still boats an array of extravagant qualities. The main body of the pen is encrusted with diamonds, sapphires and malachite that all sit on a champagne-tone gold. It is stunning.
