Aokigahara Forest, Japan

Also known as the "Suicide Forest" is located on the slopes of Mount Fuji. The dense forest has become a destination for those contemplating suicide. There are even signs at the entrance urging people to seek help.

Paris Catacombs, France

The underground tunnels that hold the remains of millions of Parisians. The skulls and bones are stacked high along the walls. While tours are available, it's not for the faint of heart.

The Island of the Dolls

Located in south of Mexico City. The island is filled with hundreds of decaying dolls hanging from the trees. The legend is that a man who once lived on the island hung the first doll in memory of a girl who drowned there.

Centralia, Pennsylvania

This coal-mining town was once a thriving community. However, an underground mine fire in 1962 has been burning ever since. The town was declared uninhabitable in the 1980s, but a few residents still remain.
