Jewar Airport which is the Noida International Airport to receive world’s longest 'pod taxi'
The airport is currently under construction and it will be built at a cost of Rs 810 crores
The airport will be not just Asia’s largest but also the fourth largest airport in the world
Driverless personal rapid transport (PRT) or ‘pod taxi’ service are planned to be set up soon
The ‘pod taxi’ will connect Jewar airport and Film City in Noida, the longest in the world
The two destinations are 14.1 kilometers apart
‘Pod taxi’ service will be facilitated through sectors 28, 29, 31 and 32 of Noida
Each taxi will be able to accommodate four to six people
‘Pod taxis’ are eco-friendly as it leaves zero carbon footprints
