Garo tribe, Meghalaya

The Garos, who call themselves A·chiks, are the second largest tribe in Meghalaya.

Sumi tribe, Nagaland

Deori tribe, Assam

The Deoris are one of the four divisions of Chutiyas and they represent the 'priestly' section of the whole Chutiya community.

The Angami Naga tribe is known for its tradition of cane and bamboo basketry. The khophi, a utility basket for carrying things, is its signature basket.

The literal meaning of adi is "hill" or "mountain top". They believe that they are the descendants of the Abutani/Abotani.
