Seven phobias that are actually true

Trypophobia: Fear of repetitive patterns of holes According to a 2018 case report published in the journal Frontiers in Psychiatry, trypophobia is a fear or aversion of repetitive patterns of holes. People with this condition may get disturb seeing things like bubble wrap, honeycomb, and seed pods. Besides this, people may have strong, excessive anxiety. 

Globophobia: Fear of ballons According to a 2103 article in the British Medical Journal, Globophobia is a fear of ballons. This disorder can cause severe anxiety in those who are exposed to the sound, touch, or the scent of balloons. According to the article, the majority of people, however, are merely terrified of the popping sound.

Vestiphobia: Fear of clothing Vestiphobia is a fear of clothing as per a 2011 case report published in the journal Grand Rounds. People who have the disease may have a specific outfit they fear or fear wearing clothing that fits tightly and makes them feel constricted.

Bananaphobia: Fear of bananas A report published in leading publication, a female patient had been scared of banas all her life. She was so much scared that she could not stand being in the same room.

Arachibutyrophobia: Fear of peanut butter A 2008 paper in the journal Food Bites described the fear of peanut butter clinging to the roof of the mouth as arachibutyrophobia. Although this unpleasant sensation is widespread, arachibutyrophobic individuals are terribly scared of it. 

Omphalophobia: Fear of belly buttons Anyone who has this ailment will feel sick if they touch their navel, gaze at another person's belly button, or even just think about one.

Phobophobia: Fear of Phobias According to a 1983 case study that was printed in The Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease, phobophobia is a fear of phobias. It was referred to as "free-floating anxiety" by researchers, and it significantly increases the risk of panic attacks.
