Worked for Indian railways
If you all remember MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, you can easily recall that in the film, it has been shown that he worked for Indian railways before getting the fame in cricket. From 2011 to 2003, he worked as a Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) at the Kharagpur Railway Station under South Eastern Railway in Midnapore.
BCCI's small-town talent spotting event
The player, who is now famous across the globe for his unique stumping skills and helicopter shots, got his big break at a cricket match in Jamshedpur in 2003, as part of BCCI's small-town talent-spotting event.
Football player
Before coming to full-time cricket, Dhoni used to serve as a goalkeeper for his school's football team. Besides this, he also tried his hand at badminton.
He won ICC ODI player of the Year award twice
Winning ICC ODI player of the Year award was one of his achievements. He won the award in 2008 and 2009.
Bike collections
If you look at his bike collections, it wouldn't be wrong to say that he is a bike lover. Reportedly, he brought his first Rs 4,500 and at present, he is the owner of a multi-crore garage filled with bikes.
Racing team
MS Dhoni also co-owns a motocycle racing team with Telugu film star Akkineni Nagarjuna. The team called Mahi Racing team.
Lieutenant Colonel
On November 1, 2011, MS Dhoni became the second cricket player after Kapil Dev to earn the honorary title, conferred upon him by The Indian Territorial Army.
Helicopter Shot
This is a signature shot everyone of MS Dhoni. But this shot wasn't actually invented by Dhoni. It passed on to him by his childhood friend and former Jharkhand teammate, Santosh Lal.
