The War Boys are a militaristic, fanatical group of followers who serve Immortan Joe, the tyrannical leader of the Citadel in Mad Max: Fury Road.
They are known for their distinctive white body paint and scarification, often branding themselves with symbols of their allegiance to Immortan Joe.
The War Boys believe in a warrior’s afterlife in Valhalla. They often chant “Witness me!” before performing acts of bravery or sacrifice, seeking glory in death.
Many War Boys suffer from radiation sickness and are physically altered or scarred, which they view as a mark of honor. They often receive blood transfusions from "blood bags" (healthy prisoners) to stay alive.
Renowned for their vehicular combat skills, the War Boys drive heavily modified cars and trucks, participating in high-speed chases and battles across the wasteland.
