What do different coloured train coaches indicate?
Diagonal yellow stripes on coaches
This means it is a general unreserved compartment.
White stripes or pale blue stripes
There are white stripes or pale blue stripes on coaches to denote that that is an unreserved general class coach.
Green stripes on EMU/DEMU trains
It means that it is a Ladies compartment.
Red stripes on EMU/DEMU trains
There is a red stripe on EMU/ MEMU where there is a first-class compartment in local trains.

LHB Express/Superfast
LHB coaches with the aluminium body are lighter in weight and safer for operations.
LHB Rajdhani
